    Start building your ICT skills today! Deadline to register is April 10th, class starts on the DHS campus 2017/2018 school year.  Cisco Networking Academy is an IT skills and career building program in partnership with the Tri-Valley ROP.  Classes include:
       - IT Essentials and Cyber Security
       - Internet Engineering (CCNA-1) 
    Open to 10th, 11th and 12th graders.

    Save the Dates: 
     
    April 6th - Women in Public Safety Symposium, hosted by Las Positas College, Building 800, Rm 801, 5-7pm, free and open to public. This event will feature a panel of distinguished female professionals from local Law Enforcement, Fire Service, and Emergency Medical Services.   The panel will discuss the unique challenges and opportunities women face in the public safety fields, as well as an opportunity to connect with other women in these areas. Attendance is free and open to the public.
     
    April 9th - High School Pre-Health Symposium at UC Davis, from 8am - 4pm. This one-day event will feature inspirational speakers and panelists, hands-on and interactive workshops, valuable information to get  students on the right path, and more! This is a unique opportunity for high school students and parents to hear from health professionals of various fields, health professions advisors, and undergraduate pre-health students.  Space is limited and cost is $25 per person.     April 15-16th -  TinoHacks - is a 29-hour, 350 student hackathon conducted during the weekend of April 15-16, 2017. It will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 15th and end at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 16th. Students can participate solo or in teams of up to 4 people. Teams can be made beforehand or during our team-building session during the hackathon.
